Long COVID Physio International Forum

September 9th - 10th 2022

Long COVID Physio will host the Long COVID Physio International Forum in partnership with Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and FisioCamera, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, Realize Canada, Visible, and Temerty Faculty of Medicine University of Toronto . The two day online forum will bring the lived experience to Long COVID, disability and rehabilitation.

The Long COVID Physio International Forum is suitable for any audience, including health and social care professionals, people living with or affected by Long COVID or other conditions, academics, service providers, policymakers, students of allied health and rehabilitation professions, and people wanting to learn more.

English will be the spoken language of the Long COVID Physio International Forum. Zoom will be used for all sessions. Closed Captioning (CC) or live transcription will be used throughout the forum, with captions available in 11 other languages. Sessions will be lived streamed and recorded for on demand viewing.

  • Science - Research presentations by world leaders, summarised by a patient-led panel

  • Discussion - Panel discussions with experts on the important topics we all want to know more about

  • Workshop - Everybody has a voice to share knowledge, skills and experiences, led by specialists and delivered in partnership with FisioCamera

Registration

Registration opened June 15th 2022. Register through Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. To encourage the broadest participation in the online forum, registration fees will be adjusted to make the conference as accessible as possible, with scholarships available for people living with Long COVID, other health conditions or disability, and people living in Low Income or Lower Middle Income Countries.

Continuing education units (CEUs) are available. This course has been approved by the APTA Utah for 11 CEUs (CEUL0098949). This program is eligible for a maximum of 11 Category D hours/CEUs, approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Certified Athletic Trainers.
